A MOTHER'S PLEA

Ingrid's life changed forever when tragedy struck one evening as her son Deury returned home from school. A hit-and-run motorcycle accident left Deury quadriplegic, shattering his dreams and altering their lives irrevocably. Ingrid sacrificed everything - her job, savings, and home - to keep her son alive, but it was never enough. Her husband, unable to bear the weight of their circumstances, left her to care for Deury alone. Now, Deury hasn't left his bed in years. Let's come together to help Ingrid and Deury enjoy a better quality of life. We may not change the world, but we can make a difference for this one mother and son.

Our main project was to bring families closer to decent housing. We seek to respond to the housing deficit caused by poverty or due to natural disasters that affect thousands of people.

TECHO Dominican Republic

1-YEAR OF CLEAN DRINKING WATER for 170 Students

Voluntour donated a water filtration device as well as 1-year of clean drinking water that will be delivered weekly.
